The fight against dementia requires a multi-faceted approach, and that’s why the collaboration between the Dementia Alliance of North Carolina (DANC), the Duke/UNC Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC), and the North Carolina Registry for Brain Health (NCRBH) is so vital. DANC provides crucial, direct support and resources to individuals and families navigating dementia, while the NCRBH connects North Carolina residents with research opportunities to understand and improve brain health. Meanwhile, the Duke/UNC ADRC focuses on cutting-edge research to better understand, treat, and ultimately prevent these devastating diseases. Together, we create a comprehensive network of care, research, and education, ensuring that those affected by dementia in North Carolina receive the best possible support. That’s why we walk. We support each other, and you.
