Study Participant First Year Visits

1st Study Visit – Baseline

• In person visit
• You will complete baseline testing including memory, sensory and other age-related tests. You will also have a blood draw and physical exam.
• Appointment length is typically 4 – 5 hours. You can shorten your visit by completing some portions of the visit in advance over the phone. Contact the Participant Concierge to learn more.
• You will be compensated $50 for your visit.

2nd Study Visit – MRI

• In person visit
• You will receive a research MRI scan.
• Appointment length is typically 2 hours. MRI scan generally takes a little over 60 minutes to complete.
• You will receive a disc with your MRI research scan.
• You will be compensated $100 for your visit.

3rd Study Visit – Lumbar Puncture or PET

• In person visit
• You will complete either a Lumbar Puncture (LP) or PET scan procedure.
• LP appointment length is typically 2 hours. PET scan appointment length is typically 3 – 4 hours.
• You will be compensated $100 for your visit.

4th Study Visit – Results

• Virtual visit
• You will meet virtually with a study clinician to discuss your Biomarker results.
• This visit is optional and is offered to those who wish to receive their biomarker results.

Annual (Return) Visit*

• In person visit once a year
• Similar visit to the 1st Study Visit
• Appointment length is typically 3 – 4 hours. You can shorten your visit by completing some portions of the visit in advance over the phone. Contact the Participant Concierge to learn more.
• You will be compensated $50 for your visit.

*Participants in the younger cohort (ages 25-44) complete first year visits only.
