- Letter of Intent Now Open! Must be submitted online at http://proposalcentral.com– All programs require an LOI to be created and submitted for this current open cycle.
- Letter of Intent Deadline: February 27, 2025 at 5PM EST

Duke Pepper Center RFA for Cancer and Aging Research Pilot Projects
The objective of this solicitation is to seek the highest quality pilot studies in cancer and aging research from within Duke University. The scope of the Pilot Studies Core includes, but is not limited to, feasibility studies (i.e., for interventions or other research methodology), development of new methodologies or technologies, analysis of existing data, and exploration of high risk but innovative ideas. For any questions regarding eligibility, please contact DCI_FundingOpportunities@duke.edu
Prior to preparing a proposal, investigators are strongly encouraged to attend our informational webinar on Monday, February 10th at 8:00 am. The webinar will provide an overview of the Duke Pepper Center’s resilience theme and how it relates to cancer research, with a goal to help investigators optimize their alignment with funding priorities.

Interdisciplinary Summer Research Institute
Applications for the Alzheimer’s Association® Interdisciplinary Summer Research Institute (AA-ISRI) are due March 9, 2025.
AA-ISRI is an immersive, no-cost opportunity for early career researchers in psychosocial care and public health to launch a career in dementia science and accelerate breakthroughs in the field. During the five-day program, experts will offer diverse perspectives on groundbreaking research through group sessions and individual mentoring. Twenty-four applicants will be selected for this exclusive experience.
