Submitting a grant? We would like to remind investigators of the importance of being aware of, and understanding the process for disclosing, potential overlap when submitting an application. There are three realms to consider: scientific, budgetary, and commitment.
Go to myresearchpath.duke.edu for more information on overlap statements and how to partner with your researcher support team.
Kudos!
Walk to End Alzheimer’s
2025 Walk to End Alzheimer’s – Huge Success!

On Saturday, October 4th, our team enjoyed a beautiful day in Raleigh walking together to support Alzheimer’s research at the Triangle Walk of the Eastern NC Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
We had a fantastic turnout, with research participants, their families, ADRC staff, faculty, and friends all showing up in support of a future without Alzheimer’s and related disorders.
Thanks to the incredible efforts of the Duke/UNC ADRC team—both walkers and behind-the-scenes supporters—we exceeded our fundraising goal, raising over $6,000 (surpassing our $2,000 target)!
Special thanks to our top fundraisers, Rachel Dewees (Team Captain) and Kelcey Landner, and to Henry Edmonds and Dr. Andrea Bozoki for staffing our “Ask the Expert” table, where over 85 visitors engaged and many joined our ADD-ME volunteer registry.
Together, we’re driving research forward toward a cure.
Congratulations!

The Duke and Zinnia team have waited over a year for this news and they are hopeful it will lead to a large RCT Phase II project in the coming years.
