Request for Information (RFI): Soliciting Input on Priorities and Progress in Alzheimer’s Disease-Related Dementias Research
There is a strong need for ongoing research on factors across the lifespan that contribute to earliest stages of ADRD development, including brain relevant data from younger, asymptomatic people with a range of social determinants of health and exposures to risk factors.
Responses must be received by December 06, 2024.
Responses to this RFI must be submitted via email to ADRDSummit2025@ninds.nih.gov with “ADRD Summit RFI” in the subject line.
Imaging Research in Alzheimer’s and Other Neurodegenerative Diseases Program
The Association and ASNR are partnering to offer this unique funding program to leverage their respective expertise and their communities. The goal of The Alzheimer’s Association & The Foundation of the American Society of Neuroradiology Funding Opportunity, Imaging Research in Alzheimer’s and Other Neurodegenerative Diseases is to support the development of new novel imaging tools, to advance imaging-based research and to provide funding for novel and innovative imaging data analysis as relates to Alzheimer’s and related dementia
Program Key Dates
- Letter of Intent Launch: September 25, 2024 – Must be submitted online here.
- Letter of Intent Deadline: October 23, 2024, 5:00PM ET
- Letter of Intent Notification: Week of December 2, 2024
- Application Deadline (if invited to submit a full application): January 29, 2025, 5:00PM ET

Administrative Supplement Program to Add Fluid-based Biomarkers and APOE Genotyping to NINDS ADRD Human Subjects Research Grants
The purpose of this one-year administrative supplement is to provide support for currently active NINDS Alzheimer’s Disease and Alzheimer’s Disease Related Dementias (AD/ADRD) awards to add/include APOE genotype and fluid-based AD/ADRD biomarkers to ongoing AD/ADRD human subjects research studies and generate new data that should enhance the clinical and scientific content of the study, now and in the future via data sharing
