KUDOS!
Congratulations to REC Scholar Jenna Merenstein!
Jenna was awarded a 3-year NIH F32 Postdoctoral Fellowship that will use ADRC data, entitled “High-resolution diffusion imaging of brain connectivity in healthy aging and Alzheimer’s disease”. In this NIH-funded postdoctoral fellowship, mentored by Drs. David Madden and Allen Song, Jenna will compare standard resolution and high-resolution measures of white matter structural connectivity to test whether the high-resolution measures are more sensitive to both normal age-related cognitive decline and Alzheimer’s disease. Findings from this research may assist with the early identification of adults who are at heightened risk for atypical cognitive decline and will set the stage for studies that may wish to use this clinically feasible high-resolution magnetic resonance imaging protocol in future aging research.
2024 Michelle P. Winn Awards
Congratulations iMIND team!
Honoring individuals and teams who have made significant contributions to diversity, equity, and inclusion over the past year including faculty ADRC researchers, Andy Liu, Kim Johnson, and Sharon Fekrat!

SCAN Data Now Available to Researchers!
The goal of the Standardized Centralized Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias Neuroimaging (SCAN) initiative is to enable standardized PET and MRI data collection from across the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Centers (ADRC) Program so that it can be combined and shared with investigators around the world to advance Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia (AD/ADRD) research and translation.
